Two Meetings In October!
iPhone Development With MonoTouch
The first meeting will be on Thursday, October 7, and feature Wallace McClure speaking about developing for the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch using .Net via the MonoTouch toolset.
Wally is a well known author and speaker from the Knoxville area who has spoken to GGMUG before. He's always a good speaker and it seems the whole world is crazy for those iDevices. This is your chance to learn to develop apps for them using the tools you know and love.
Windows Phone 7 Development Contest
The second meeting will be our annual contest! It will be held the following Thursday, October 14.
This year our contest is to see who can develop the best Windows Phone 7 app. As in past years the rules are simple: you must have attended at least one previous GGMUG meeting, you must be present to win and the vote of the group that night is final.
We have some great prizes this year too! MVP Sergey Barskiy of Magenic has donated a FULL BORE MSDN license! That's a HUGE prize. We will also have some other cool prizes for the other winners.
Both meetings will start at 6:30 PM as usual and be held in room 401 of Building 100 at Gwinnett Technical College.

Make sure you sign up for GiveCamp Atlanta at the new website.
The event will take place over the MLK Holiday weekend (1/14-1/16/2011), but we have leadership and other planning positions available NOW. We need lots of people to pull this one off.
If you would like to be a leader or help out, register on the website or send me an email at jeffa00@gmail.com.
This is a great way to give back to the world using the skills you use every day. It will also be a ton of fun!
